Marmolada hiking tour
From the San Pellegrino Pass (1918 m. a.s.l.) we will follow the forest track leading to the wonderful Fuciade plain. Continuing along a ridge made of alpine meadows, we will reach Forca Rossa.
A breathtaking view under the Sasso Val Fredda with its imposing 3000 meters altitude. Descending from the magnificent Franzedas Valley, we will reach Malga Ombretta, following the track leading to the Rifugio Falier.
We will sleep under the Southern face of Marmolada, the Queen of the Dolomites and cherish its majesty.
Following the Ombrettola Valley we will reach the Ombrettola Pass (2864 m. a.s.l.).
We will come back to the San Pellegrino Pass crossing the Cirelle Pass, descending though the scree. We will then reach the Fuciade plain again.
Difficulty level: medium – for experienced hikers.
