Special Trekking: the Cinque Terre
Across the most beautiful and evocative landscapes of Liguria, ancient terracings, dry-stone walls, fishing villages and a rich Mediterranean vegetation where sea, land and sky melt, creating an incomparable background. Routes:
- Palmaria Island – Portovenere (UNESCO Heritage Site);
- Campiglia – Fossola – Riomaggiore – Manarola;
- Vernazza – Monterosso – Levanto.
Large Route of the Catinaccio Group
We will experience the most evocative route in the Dolomites leaving from Vigo di Fassa. We will cross Gardeccia from Ciampediè up to the Vajolet Valley, continuing then to Antermoia Refuge and the homonymous lake where the Catinaccio peaks reflect. We will then continue our trip, after spending a night in this hut, crossing the Antermoia and the Cigolade Pass. In the end, we will finish our trip at the starting point. This is a long and demanding route. A mountaineering experience is required, as it has a 1450 m uphill and downhill altitude difference.
Complete route of the Langkofel Group
A highly appreciated route by expert hikers is the complete route of the Langkofel Group. Leaving from the cable-car top station of Col Rodella, we will reach the Sella Pass, crossing a rockslide area, called City of Stones. We will continue up to Vicenza Refuge located on the foothills of Plattkofel Peak. After a night in this hut, we will reach Plattkofel Refuge, and then go back to the cable-car top station of Col Rodella. Although this route does not show particular difficulties, a good physical training is recommended considering its length.
Route of the Civetta-Moiazza Group
This route suits expert hikers, allowing to make the complete route of the Civetta-Moiazza Group. Leaving from Chiesa, a village of the Goima Valley, we will reach the Angelini Path and then continue up to the Forcella Inferiore delle Crepe. Further, we will take the Tivan Path, reaching the Tissi Refuge and spend the night there. We will then continue our trip towards Piani di Pelsa and Strada della Mussaia towards the Duran Pass. Our excursion will end in Chiesa. This long trip has 1700 m altitude difference during the first day and 800 m during the second one.
